Follow-up Appointments
- My 8 year old child recently broker her arm. After the break is immobilized by cast (and in her case, the pins are holding it in place inside the cast)what kind of activity is she allowed to do? Clearly no pressure or hard movements with the hand/arm, but I'm wondering does that limit her to things like jumping lightly on the trampoline. Obviously things like bike rides, etc. are out, but activities that don't hurt the hand/arm and don't risk serious injury, but are still child's play, are they fine within reason?
- My daughter had a broken bone in her foot. She was in a walking boot for 6 weeks. She came in Thursday for a follow-up and was told she could stop wearing the boot. By Saturday, she has developed a rash over the top her her foot that was broken. Is this something that I should be concerned about or have looked at?
