Joseph M. Savitz, DO

Dr. Savitz grew up in Tampa, Florida. After completing college and medical school, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Surgeon. He was the Senior Flight Surgeon at Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, California where he then went on to become the Senior Flight Surgeon/Medical Officer for Marine Air Group 70 in the Persian Gulf War and stationed aboard the USS New Orleans Amphibious Assault Carrier.

He currently serves at the Medical Director of Athens Orthopedic Clinic Occupational Health/Workers’ Compensation division.
