Am I a Candidate?

If you think you may need a joint replacement or reconstruction, don’t worry! It’s one of the most common procedures we do here at AOC, and we’re committed to serving any kind of patient: old, young, inactive, or athletic. Our treatment is comprehensive, so if you have reduced mobility and pain in your joints, even while resting, our specialists can help. Specifically, be on the lookout for swelling, stiffness, and severe pain.

How We Can Help

Joint replacement can be total or partial, and our Total Joint team will determine which treatment, if either, is most appropriate. Our Total Joint Program offers a comprehensive approach through the rehabilitation spectrum to improve function and quality of life. This includes consultation, treatment plan development, surgery, physical therapy, and more.

Athens Orthopedic Clinic has teamed up with our Sports Performance and Rehabilitation Center (SPARC), located onsite at AOC’s main campus, to offer a Total Joint Replacement Exercise Program following completion of physical therapy, specifically designed to return each patient to a more active lifestyle. The bridge focuses on the primary components required to have a health human body, including balance, strength, mobility, flexibility and endurance.
