Maria has a special interest in endurance athletes of all types–rehabilitation, injury prevention, functional mobility, and bike fitting. She actively participates in competitive cycling, both mountain and road, for United Healthcare p/b 706 Project–the same team for which she is the physical therapist liaison. Her love of cycling has carried over into her professional life as well, having presented research at the Medicine of Cycling Conference at the USA Cycling Headquarters and also having a Bike Fit certification through Medicine of Cycling and Bike Fit, LLC.
