Dr. Mason Florence is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Originally from the small town of LaFayette, Georgia, he attended the University of Georgia where his childhood love for the Dawgs continued.
Dr. Florence went on to pursue his M.D. at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and received his orthopedic training at the Medical College of Georgia, as well. With a special interest in foot and ankle, he pursued fellowship training in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle surgery at the University of Alabama Birmingham under the direction of Dr. John S. Gould and Associates.
Dr. Florence and his wife, Rachel, have two children, Samuel and Caroline. He enjoys golf, skiing, and other outdoor activities with his family.
