Colin Sutton, PT, MPT
Colin joined the Athens Orthopedic Clinic team in November 2015. He has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedics and sports therapy since graduating from the Medical College of Georgia in 2004. He spent the last 8 years of his career at Gwinnett Medical Center where he was part of a veteran staff responsible for evaluating and treating youth and adult clients with orthopedic and sports related injuries and surgeries from across Metro Atlanta. While at Gwinnett Medical Center, Colin worked directly with members of the medical and training staff for the Atlanta Gladiators, Atlanta Braves, as well as with multiple other sports organizations. In pursuit of advancing his knowledge in treating athletes, Colin became a Sportsmetrics ™ certified instructor which promotes training and injury prevention for the knee. He has taken his experience to the community, working with preseason high school sports conditioning and he has presented similar ideas to community coaches, athletic trainers, and physical therapists. Colin takes great pride in working with each of his clients as he guides them toward their goals of returning to the activities and sports they love. His other areas of expertise include the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee.
